The Second Opinion Clinic™ is a virtual clinic for individuals to meet one-on-one with a specialist to get that second opinion they need.
When is the Second Opinion Clinic™ open?
My Virtual Physician is excited to launch The Second Opinion Clinic™ on January 5, 2021.
Special limited appointments can be booked on Tuesday, January 5th on a firms-come, first served basis from 11 am to 3 pm. The Second Opinion Clinic™ will be offered on a monthly basis.
What does it cost to book an appointment for the second opinion clinic™?
Our specialist consultation fee is specially-priced, at only $99. The price includes the 30-minute visit with our physician and record review. Patients are responsible for payment at the time of booking.
Can you bill my insurance for the Second Opinion clinic™ consultation?
My Virtual Physician accepts credit or debit cards for payment. For more information on additional methods of payment in some states, check out our
pricing and payment information. We are unable to file a claim with your insurance or provide a procedure code (CPT) for the service at this time.
What does the Second Opinion clinic™ Consultation include?
Your appointment will include a record review by our physician and a 30-minute virtual video encounter where you can ask questions and get the answers you've been looking for.
What kind of specialists can I talk to?
The Second Opinion Clinic™ in January will feature Dr. David Howard, who is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Howard offers medical consultations for women undergoing or considering, elective gynecological surgery and who want a second opinion preoperatively. He will also give guidance for women with chronic gynecological problems, including infertility or abnormal periods. If you've experienced treatment that is not working or want a second opinion on your current treatment plan, this is the specialist to talk to.
Can anyone book with the second opinion clinic™?
At this time, My Virtual Physician offers virtual consultations for individuals who live in the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, and Washington. Residents of any city in these states can book!
Will my primary doctor be involved with the second opinion Clinic™?
The Second Opinion Clinic™ specialists may reach out to your doctor for information or to discuss the treatment plan if needed. Our team will coordinate with your provider as needed.
How can I book my consultation for the second opinion clinic™?
You must book in advance. Email us through our secure inbox and tell us you want to secure your spot! Briefly tell us why you’re seeking a second opinion and include medical records you may have or let us know where we can request your records. If you are booked for surgery already, make sure to provide the contact information for your doctor’s office. The sooner you book your appointment the better!
What should I do to prepare for my appointment with the second opinion clinic™?
After you’ve booked your appointment and received confirmation from our team, it may be helpful to prepare a list of 5 questions that you want to ask our physician. While not required, this may ensure you get the most out of your consultation.
