DEPRESSION SCREENING

We offer this service to all women, but it is especially important postpartum and during pregnancy. Studies have shown that 1 in 7 women experiences postpartum depression in the year after they give birth and 7% of women experience depression during pregnancy.

DIABETES CARE & MONITORING

Although Virtual Gynecology does not collect blood samples or measure blood sugars itself, we offer diabetes care by reviewing your blood sugar readings and provide medical advice regarding those readings. These readings must be monitored because several factors elevate a woman’s risk of developing gestational diabetes which could lead to complications during and after pregnancy.

INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE SCREENING

According to the CDC, approximately 1.5 million women experience intimate partner violence in the United States each year with as many as 324,000 of them being pregnant women. Our intimate partner violence screening acknowledges and gives aid to those affected.
