For most other states where the doctor is required to have had a pre-existing relationship with the patient, we do two video visits: one to establish care and one to actually do the certification for the medical card.

Hi, In most states that require in-person for new but allow telemedicine for renewals, they specifically state that the doctor renewing must be the same doctor who did the initial certification. So for Colorado, we don't do either because we don't want to be caught out of compliance with the law.
