Dr. Mandigo is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Harvard and then completed a Master's Degree in Clinical Medicine at Oxford University. She graduated from medical school at the University of Miami and then trained at Johns Hopkins Hospital for her residency in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Mandigo also completed a fellowship in global clinical education with Massachusetts General Hospital, during which she served on the faculty at the University of Malawi.
She has a broad range of experience aimed at reducing healthcare inequities and improving outcomes. She served as an Associate with the Harvard Program in Global Surgery and Social Change and is also an alumna of Seed Global Health. Her passion is improving health literacy and empowering women to be able to make their own informed healthcare decisions.
Dr. Mandigo's professional priorities are to help women navigate peri-menopausal changes, menstrual cycle irregularities, sexual health concerns, vaginal symptoms, and fertility challenges. She also provides consultations regarding contraceptive options and diagnostic test results (such as paps, ultrasounds, and mammograms).
