Pediatric Cognitive-Behavioral Coach
Dr. Michelle Dalson is a Pediatric Cognitive-Behavioral Physician. She completed her BS in Psychology at Duke University and earned her MD at Trinity School of Medicine.
Dr. Dalson has amassed extensive experience working with children across various age groups. Her focus on mental health needs has been complemented by substantial research in evidence-based personality psychology and cognition, alongside specialized training in pediatric mental health. She has also pursued certifications in Cognitive-Behavioral Art Therapy and Child and Adolescent Counseling. Notably, her expertise extends to addressing conditions such as ADHD, autism, and a spectrum of other mental health concerns.
Dr. Dalson is also a published author, with works spanning children's literature to teen and young adult novels. Motivated by her passion for storytelling, she utilizes the therapeutic potential of narratives and the arts. In her pediatric and parent coaching services, she teaches both children and adults how to use stories, writing, and other creative outlets to foster mental health, cognitive development, personal growth, and overall well-being.
