Dr. Melissa Chladek is a board-certified pediatrician with almost 12 years of experience. She completed her pediatric residency at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine in 2012. She received her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Prior to medical school, she attended Baylor University graduating summa cum laude with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry.
Dr. Chladek has worked in both pediatric hospital medicine as well as emergency medicine. She is licensed to work in Texas and is currently in the process of acquiring licenses in additional states. In the past she has worked heavily in academic medicine teaching both medical students and residents. She has also worked on multiple hospital committees to improve patient care processes. She enjoys working in different cultural settings with her most recent avenues being through medical mission work in Colombia. She also had the privilege of working in Singapore in the Children’s Emergency room while there for her husband’s job.
Dr. Chladek has a passion for family centered care and believes strongly in shared decision making when the situation allows. She is here to listen and help provide evidence based medical practices when caring for your children.
