She takes an individualized approach to all of her patients and works to make a plan that fits into her patients' needs and life. She is available to discuss general gynecology issues, which include contraception and family planning (so that patients can control if or when they are pregnant), menopause related concerns, vaginal and vulvar symptoms, chronic pelvic pain, irregular periods, sexual health concerns, and sexually transmitted infections. She also is available for second opinions, especially regarding surgical options.
Dr. Paivanas spends her free time practicing yoga and exploring her home state of Maryland with her husband, two children, and dogs.
