Our model is unique—most of our workforce consists of 1099 physicians. This gives our team flexibility, but it also means there’s a natural ebb and flow as providers’ circumstances change. We never stop looking for talented, compassionate clinicians who want to make a difference in telemedicine.

But we’ve learned something important over the years: consistency beats volume. Early on, we were eager to welcome anyone who could offer big chunks of time. But what we really need—and what our patients value most—is reliability. That’s why our new emphasis is on consistent, manageable commitments. If you can give us just one hour per day, Monday through Friday, that five hours of steady availability is far more valuable than sporadic, unpredictable coverage.
