According to evidence-based personality psychology, there are 8 major cognitive styles our brains can use: extravert sensing (Se), introvert sensing (Si), extravert intuition (Ne), introvert intuition (Ni), extravert thinking (Te), introvert thinking (Ti), extravert feeling (Fe), introvert feeling (Fi).
